A scrape in time will save nine.

As I sit here I am watching Keagan crawl up her wagon backwards, I can't imagine how it will turn out without her falling down.  It is tough to watch her get into a position that may lead to her getting hurt, but I think to minimize being hurt over the long-term it is worth letting her get hurt in controlled environments so that she realizes what she can and can not do, so that she can avoid those situations in the future possibly when she could get hurt much more.  It is hard as a parent to watch the events play out that will lead to them getting hurt, but a bonk on the head now may save a fractured one later.

Oh, and she made it off the wagon alright, just a bit of controlled slide did the trick.

Tip of the morning to ya

You know what I really like?  When I hit something, say like a bottle, and it tips a bit but doesn't fall down, but then -and this is the magical part- when it rocks back and forth subsequently it falls down.  Miracles, how do they work?
