Merry Christmas Eve

Just working on getting the LCD TV hooked up to the satelite dish. It's not as fun as it sounds.

Have a rockin' Christmas!

Lunch at Target

I was shopping around town all day today and so I didn't get a chance to eat until later. I finally grabbed a late lunch at a Super Target. For less than $9 I got a very good Italian Sandwich, a large bag of honey mustard pretzels that I am still munching on now, and a four pack of pomegranate Izze to drink. It was a good lunch.

Wii Have a Winner

I don't know about you, but my last few days has been spent sleeping in, ignoring e-mails of students that want to know their grade two days early and playing the Wii. I think that if you haven't been doing the aforementioned items you are missing out on a heck of a good start to Christmas break.

Check back for a better Wii review soon.

Finals

Not much to say about today... it's just finals time.

Grow ver. 1

It has been awhile since I have posted a game, so here is a new one for you. Grow version 1 is a prequel of sorts to the other Grow games. The point of the game is to grow the object at the start of the game, and the choices you make along the way makes it grow into different things. Its not complicated, but quite fun. Check it.

Also check out Grow Ornament from last year.

An apple a day will drive me insane

I think one of the grossest/most annoying sounds there is, is of somebody eating an apple. Why do I bring this up? Because there is someone eating an apple close to me in the computer lab and I can hear all the smacking/sucking/smooshing sounds and it is driving me crazy! Gah!

Pink hiar for the Aztecs

This is a rather unflattering picture of my Aztec professor Dr. McCrea.

The point is the pink hair though. I have had a fair amount of people ask me about how the class is, and during my description of the class Dr. McCrea's pink hair always comes up. So there is a visual for you (Clicky to see better). It is actually pretty faded by now, but you get the idea. (p.s. The class was very good, I highly suggest taking classes from her.)

What is even funnier about the pink hair is that when a guest speaker, from somewhere on the east coast, came to talk about the Aztecs, he had just died his hair... the exact same color as hers. The next day in class Dr. McCrea had to withstand a barrage of questions about why you have to have pink hair to study the Aztecs.

Frenzy Ole

One night while we were all up at my dad's house a couple of years ago we must have got very bored. So we decided to do what anybody would do in a situation like that; make a stop motion video.

I give you Frenzy Ole:

Sigh

So we joined the modern age today, Nicole and I got cell phones. It's not all that bad, we can call long distance again, and sine we got on Chris and Jenette's plan we are saving alot of money.

Really the only thing that is sigh worthy is that I can't post pics from my cell phone directly to this blog. The problem is on Bloggers side of things though, so hopefully everything will be fixed soon. Until then I will post over on my Temporary Moblog, and then when I get around a computer I will repost the picture over here. For example:

p.s. I added my Amazon Wishlist to the sidebar on the right... hint hint. ^_^

Rocks don't go in laser guns

Last night when I was trying to fall asleep I was pondering body hair. Some men take pride in having a body covered in hair, I personally do not like body hair. So in thinking of reasons why having body hair is not good (and falling halfway asleep) I came up with this reason:

Overly hairy people remind me of Neanderthals, overly hairless people remind me of aliens. Now in the case of war, who do you want to fix your laser gun, the Neanderthal or the alien? Thats right, the alien. So the less hair the better.

Let me tell you, that was quite funny when I was halfway asleep....not so much now.
