I just noticed that I have now passed 50,000 visitors to my blog. I have heard that you only need 100,000 visitors a month to be able to make $75,000 a year from blogging. I would say that I am almost there.

How do you check the number of visitors? I think I must be transparent because I haven't had a response to my last two blog entries in over a year. Could I be I don't blog enough? Does anyone care what I would probably blog about?
I use sitemeter.com to track my visitors, there are other places to do it. With sitemeter you have to add some code to the blog so that they can do the tracking.
General rule is that if you don't post enough you wont get comments, because no one will put the effort into leaving a comment if they think the blog is dead. More post means more reader and more comments.
