Friday over lunch Nicole and I participated in the annual company table tennis tournament. We did ok and won the "Just for fun" bracket. Then we went on to play the winners from the "Good players" bracket. They beat us soundly and won some sweet Hulk gloves.

Apparently, ping pong was originally called 'whiff whaff' - yes seriously - when invented by the Victorians using real tables...
I can see why the term ping pong gained so much popularity.
That sounds like fun!
Oh - and the gloves are cool, too. Sorry you lost out on them, buddy.

I always thought it was called Ping Pong coz of the sound the ball makes on the table ;-)
