Tom Cruise, you are right.

A couple of weeks ago I watched the double secret Scientology video that Tom Cruise did where he talked about the "church" and what not. And as always he proved that he is only a puppet of the person he once was, which is sad. But he did say something that I can not disagree with; he commented that if Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley were Scientologists that they would still be alive today. And as much as I dislike Scientology I have to agree with that statement. Scientology does help people who are unable to control their own impulses get the needed control.

Now only if they weren't so evil... and didn't charge for their "religion"... and brainwash people.

If Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley were alive and Scientologists, then everyone would hate them.

As it is, they are dead and beloved.

They might prefer the former, but for purely aesthetic reasons I prefer the latter.

Fuck Tom Cruise!

@earl- Very true, they would not be loved like they are now if they were Scientologists then.

p.s. It also looks like Will Smith is now a Scientologist

That's fine. As long as they don't take real actors like Ed Norton, Ryan Gosling or Russell Crowe. The Fresh Prince, they can have.

If Marilyn Monroe was a Catholic nun, she'd still be alive.

If Elvis Presley was a Buddhist monk, he'd still be alive.

See? It works different ways too.

Also, that's really sad about Will. Here I thought he had his head on right. Poor dummy.

Actually, we CAN'T really say with certainty that they would still be alive. We can, with some measure of certainty, say that they probably would not have died AS THEY DID. Scientologists can still have auto accidents, die in plane wrecks, have heart attacks, get cancer, catch a stray bullet, so on and so forth.
