How to spot a CD that has Rootkit

If you are in the market to pick up a new CD (I urge you not to do it, but if you must…) you should read over this to learn how to spot CDs that will infect your computer with Rootkit. For example:


Tip-off #1: on the front of the CD, at the left-most edge, in the transparent "spine", you'll see "CONTENT PROTECTED" along with the IFPI copy-protection logo. A few photos make this clearer.
