German jobless rate at new record high

BBC NEWS (article)

The figure of 5.216 million people, or 12.6% of the working-age population, is the highest jobless rate in Europe's biggest economy since the 1930s. ... The growth warning triggered anger even from government supporters, who said the Social Democrat-Green administration of Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder had to do more.

Hey guys, socialism doesn't work. If you want growth and jobs you need to be capitalist. I have heard that a lot of counties in the EU are having similar problems... maybe because the people there have figured out that if the do nothing or work really hard they will get about the same amount of money.

I like the idea of 'you get paid for what you work for'.
