Regionals

Last weekend went pretty well.
On Friday, we (me and nicole) left town around 6.30 and made it to KC by 9 where we met jenette chris and aaron at On the Border. It was ok, I got fish tacos, which had beer batteredfish. If it didn't taste so unhealthy they would have been very good. (part of the reason why Wahoo's fish taco is so good is because they taste so clean and healthy.) After dinner we left for Saint Louis. We arrived at the motel around 1 or so, and went to sleep.
On Saturday we woke up left for the arena and stopped at panera. Our first game was against Washington which we lost 10-0. But that is ok, because Washington is very good (the best in the league). After the game we went to Sports Authority to check out sports stuff, we ended up playing around there for about an hour or so, mostly on the crazy elliptical runningthings. After that we ate lunch at Longhorns. Last time we went I thought the prices we too much, but the food was good. But, since it was lunchtime, we thought that they might have a cheaper lunch menu. Oh, they did. They had a full lunch menu with almost everything around 6-9 dollars. I got pork chops again and nicole got a salad. The service was very good. I bet next year we will be going there alot for lunches. After eating we had a weird amount of time left, it was still kinda early to head back, but we did not have enough time to do anything more, so we just went back and watched some hockey. Our next game was against South West Missouri Sate, we played much better in that game, but still lost 11 - 1, but i did score the one goal. After the game the team headed on back to the motel to shower and stuff. Around 8 we got a call to see if we wanted to go downtown with the team for dinner. We thought it sounded fine so off we went (around 9). It didn't take too long to get there, but parking was very bad. We parked about half a mile from everyone else in an empty lot. The team decided to eat at the Morgan Street Brewery, which luckily had room for 16 or so people to sit together. We had a good time eating and talking there (for the record the food was good). And it was fun to spend some time with the team outside of wearing hockey equipment. They are all nice guys, and seemto be smarter that the average person as well. After eating me, nicole, jentte, chris, and arron, brought mike back to the motelwhile the rest of the team stuck around downtown. By the time we got back to the motel we were so tired we just went to sleep.
Yesterday we woke up headed out, stopped at panera for a bagel, and made it to the arena rather early. We played Truman for our last game of the season. despite the refs being very biased (very very very biased) we played one of our best games and held Turman to 4 goals while we were even strength (they scored 7 more while shorthanded, which was net for more than a whole period) we lost 11-2. Donnie scored both goals with assists by nate for one and me for the other. Ty got kicked out of the game for no reason, which sucked because it was his last game with the team. After the game Jerry handed out awards to the most improved player on the team, which Jenette got. (How true is that, Wilkie went from not wanted her out there to full rotation during the course of the season). And Ty got the MVP award. Also very deserving. After we said our goodbyes to the team we headed on over to slackers to check out some cheap used movies and CDs. I got Underworld, Van Hellsing, Futurama Vol 2, a No Doubt CD, and a Wallflowers CD. all for a very good price. After looking around there for a bit we went to Kreigers for lunch. The food there was ok, nothing to write on a blog about. ^_^. After lunch we headed home, which went by without any notes except for the thunderstorm that we got to watch as we got past Topeka. For dinner we ordered Papa John's to replenish our freezerspizza supply, and we watched some Futurama. Then it was off to the bed. well we took some showers in there somewhere.
So all in all a good weekend.
Today all Ive done is ate some breakfast and typed on the computer. Design of Experiments(720) starts in less than an hour, and after that i have to do my Process Improvement (722) homework. I look forward to teaching tonight because I am giving my final, and it will be the last night class i will have to teach this semester (yay!). So that is good.

Well i need to drink some tea now, so i'm gonna go do that.
I'll get some pics of the weekend posted later (it may be way later tonight, depending on how long it takes me to do my homework).
