Ray's Apple Market

We stopped on by the newly remodeled Ray's Apple Market this afternoon to pick up some groceries. Unfortunately the free milk this was the high point of the shopping trip. Even though the store is not Food 4 Less anymore and it looks many times better than it used to, it still feels the same. Which is too bad, I was hoping that it could at least one-up Dillions and Walmart, it wouldn't be that hard...

Perhaps you could encourage them to take a field trip to the 30th & Pearl Street Whole Foods store and get some ideas. That place is almost always busy to capacity, has great stuff, and I think the appeal is beyond just "Boulder". It's a place I don't mind going to and spending a significant amount of dollars because it's more than shopping -- it's entertaining and has a sense of "belonging" for some reason.

Free milk?! I've never seen such a thing.
