Newsday.com (article)

The Cablevision board of directors agreed Thursday night to end chairman Charles Dolan's titanic struggle to rescue the Voom nationwide satellite TV service, a source close to the company said.

I had thought they already said this, but when i went to Sears they were still trying to sell dishes for Voom. But now it is official, Voom is dead.

Was Voom strictly satellite based though? I want to say some friends of mine in KC have it and they only had digital cable...
