I am glad to see that only 50% of people think that fighting affects their interest in hockey. Hockey is always portrayed as a semi-pro boxing league by those that don’t watch the sport, and I think that some fans are just fans because of the fights. I personally think that they are a good thing in general, but they are not vital to the sport.

On another not the WHA is supposed to start their tourney today, but all is quiet over there, so I have my doubts.
